Launching at the Willis Tower – And What It Means for the Tenant Experience PropTech Category

Reading Time: 2 minutes

In case you missed it earlier this week, our software is powering the new tenant experience app at Willis Tower, which is owned by Blackstone’s EQ Office. Up until launch this week, our team has been working hard behind the scenes with EQ Office, customizing our tenant experience software for one of the tallest buildings in the world – a Class A office tower with 3.8 million square feet of rentable space and more than 12,000 occupants.

Our software will enhance the amenitized space at the Willis Tower to give occupants a truly incredible end-to-end experience. Employees of tenant businesses can now use their mobile phone to access onsite amenities and experiences, such as Tone, a state of the art fitness center on the 33rd floor, Tower House, a cafe, lounge, and conference center on the 33rd and 34th floors, and Altitude, a tenant lounge and cafe on the 66th and 67th floors – to name just a few.

I could go on about the specifics of our app and it’s rollout with EQ, but I also want to discuss what I think this means for the tenant experience space and HqO in particular.

First Mover Advantage

Every landlord that is focused on attracting and retaining the best tenants is beginning to understand the value of putting in place a tech layer for the experience at their property. The top office owners, like Blackstone’s EQ Office, are taking first mover advantage, rolling out TeX technology to enhance the experience today, which ensures that they will be able to take advantage of the long term benefits tomorrow: data-driven decisioning, NOI growth, and increased asset value.

The Secret Weapon of TeX

Data is tenant experience software’s secret weapon. Our technology is arming landlords with an incredibly valuable dataset that they haven’t had access to before – insights into how to make smarter returns on their investments by keeping tenants happier for longer.

The Opportunity Ahead

Our team has worked incredibly hard and done a good job so far in differentiating ourselves, our technology, and our approach to success. HqO continues to be chosen by some of the top property owners and investment funds in the world after they conduct extensive evaluations of the space, which is getting more crowded by the day. We’re honored, encouraged, and humbled by the opportunity ahead of us. It’s massive, and this is just the beginning.
