How it works
Published quarterly, the list is based on real estate experience data from tenants and their employees gathered through HqO’s proprietary Intelligence products leveraging the world’s most powerful and trusted employee experience assessment framework.
To participate in the programme, nominated spaces – buildings, offices, and amenities alike – undergo a REX Assessment to generate their REX Score, the quality measure of the end-user experiences within their space. Scores are then compared to data gathered over the last decade from over 8,000 workplaces and more than 1.7 million employees. If a REX Score meets or exceeds benchmarks from this data, the space will be certified and promoted as one of the Best Spaces to Work in London.
The programme is rolling, meaning data is continuously gathered, so REX Scores can always improve. For those who want to take it a step further, HqO will work with customers whose space did not meet benchmark criteria to help them create and implement a REX strategy that will be sure to increase their score.

A building, an office space, or even an amenity space like a gym or clubhouse — can all be nominated for certification, regardless of size and shape, providing it supports an employee’s workplace experience.
How are ‘Best Spaces’ selected?
To participate in the programme, nominated spaces will undergo a property evaluation with an HqO REX expert to generate their REX Score, the quality measure of the end-user experiences within their space. If the Score meets or exceeds the global industry benchmark, the space will be certified as one of the Best Spaces to Work in London.
Is there a cost?
