Congratulations to 30 Hudson Yards for securing the HqO Best Spaces to Work certification, the only recognition validating end-user real estate experiences in spaces in cities across the globe.

30 Hudson Yards, within the renowned Hudson Yard neighborhood in New York City, rises 101-stories tall as one of the world’s tallest office towers. This stunning glass-and-steel structure, comprising 2.8 million-square-feet, is located at the intersection of 33rd Street and 10th Avenue and features river-to-river panoramic views, a dramatic triple-height lobby, outdoor terraces, and direct access to premier restaurants, shops, and the No. 7 Line subway station.

Embodying best practices in design, service, and amenities from Related’s track record of creating award-winning luxury residences and 5-star hotels, 30 Hudson Yards exemplifies a “lifestyle office” approach to commercial real estate. Employees enter a buzzing, travertine, and polished wood lobby with a large-scale art installation by artist Jaume Plensa and an Italian-style coffee bar. With over 80% occupancy at Hudson Yards during the week, 30 Hudson Yards employees rub shoulders with top talent from KKR, Wells Fargo, DNB Bank, and Warner Bros. Discovery. Most importantly, through its dedicated focus on end-user real estate experience, the building prioritizes health and wellness, open space, arts and culture, and food and beverage for tenants and their employees through all the resources and amenities of Hudson Yards.

Recently one of the building’s anchor tenants participated in HqO’s Best Spaces to Work program, gathering data and insights from hundreds of their employees on their experience within the property through an in-depth survey – HqO’s REX Assessment. The results, which centered around three core experiences – culture impact, features, and amenities, showed high employee sentiment and engagement, specifically in the categories “pride of place” and “work satisfaction”. Overall, the survey findings proved the success of 30 Hudson Yards’ focus on and investment in end-user experience, landing it a REX Score exceeding the REX Index benchmark, which is based on data and insights from 1.8+ million employees and 8,000+ workspaces. This in turn has made the property one of HqO’s first certified Best Spaces to Work in the world.

“Forward-looking companies continue to flock to environments that improve the daily lives of their workers, exemplified by 30 Hudson Yards, one of the world’s premier buildings. Hudson Yards is the ultimate lifestyle campus and we thank HqO for recognizing the commitment our properties and their amazing operations staff have to delivering unparalleled levels of employee engagement,” said Philippe Visser, President, Related Office Development.

Congratulations to the team at 30 Hudson Yards for this recognition. You continue to lead the way for the industry as it moves into the future of workplace experience – HqO is proud to not only partner with you on these efforts but to showcase your accomplishments!
