HqO Launches The HqO Workplace Experience App for its Internal Corporate Employees

Leading Workplace Experience Technology Provider Takes the Next Step in Enhancing its Product and Improving Communities Across the Globe

BOSTON October 18, 2022 HqO, the worlds leading workplace experience platform, announced the launch of the HqO Workplace Experience App for its own employees last month. The achievement is significant, showcasing HqOs dedication to its staff as an employer and to enhancing its already-renowned product. Now, not only will HqO employees have access to the same digital tools and engagement strategies that the company already provides for corporate employers, but they will also be able to learn alongside their customers to further improve the HqO platform and create more unified workplace experiences.

This news marks yet another significant leap in HqOs dedication to corporate buyers, following the news of a direct licensing deal with JLL and its acquisition of Leesman, an employee experience research leader based in Europe. Taking place among five major HqO office locations (Boston, MA; New York City, New York; London, England; Paris, France; and Amsterdam, The Netherlands), the launch resulted in 87% of employees downloading the app in under 24 hours.

Were excited to have implemented our own product for our company, explains Chase Garbarino, Co-Founder and CEO at HqO. Since we created the workplace experience category in 2018, HqOs vision has been to use technology to improve social infrastructure. We cant think of a better way to do that for our customers than to put ourselves in the shoes of the people we wish to serve. This is giving us necessary insights that will fuel our model of continuous improvement as we provide better experiences for workplaces and communities everywhere.

In order to ensure the launchs success, HqO treated itself as a true client. Its Implementation team partnered with stakeholders across the organization in a collaborative effort that mirrored HqOs existing workflows with customers embarking on a deep discovery process before customizing the app through engaging capabilities, content, and resources that aligned with each main office location. Shortly after, HqOs Workplace Experience Managers helped generate excitement for and engagement with the app by using it to host important company communications, games and raffles (including an in-app scavenger hunt), and other workplace perks and amenities.

By implementing the HqO Workplace Experience App for our own employees, HqO has the advantage of being able to truly put ourselves in our customers’ shoes, says Amanda Pontbriand, Implementation Lead at HqO. Understanding the customer journey, their goals, and the pain points HqO is solving lets us see the other side. Working closely with HqOs own Workplace Experience team was an insightful experience where no rock was left unturned, and no problem was too big to solve. Providing feedback and learnings with our own Product team also allows us to continue to enhance our technology as a leader in the industry.

This news covers the first of several phases in the companys launch plan, all designed to iterate the HqO app and keep it relevant for HqO employees. Each phase will come with product additions or enhancements based on direct user feedback and employee needs. Ultimately, the app will be available for mass adoption including for HqO employees located in areas separate from the five main offices.
